Biography

It all started...

Parry has been entertaining Greek-Americans throughout the U.S. since he learned the bouzoukee from Tasos Polykandriotis in Greece and founded “The Grecian Lads” while attending high school in Ohio.

His classic lead vocals, distinctive bouzouki stylings as well as his clarinet, guitar, and keyboard work made “The Lads” the people’s choice in entertainment groups for nearly 20 years.

As a member of the Sons of Pericles and later AHEPA he entertained for their local events as well as several national and district conventions. They recorded three albums and performed from coast to coast including frequent appearances with the Trio Bel Canto and other Greek recording artists. Their last dance album, “Panegyri”, has become a standard with their fans and DJ’s alike.

When Parry moved out of Ohio to further his acoustical engineering career it became logistically impossible to maintain “The Grecian Lads”. Eager for other means of musical expression he researched and invested in an emerging technology known as MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). This powerful technology enables him to write, edit, store and perform his music electronically. These fully orchestrated arrangements accompany his vocals, bouzouki, clarinet, tzoura, and guitar with digital fidelity and precision.

Let Parry’s modern day version of the “one man band” transport you, your organization and your guests into a new era in Greek-American musical entertainment with his unique and memorable music performances.
